Razer has announced a miniature version of the DeathAdder V2 gaming mouse, expanding its range of shattered peripherals beyond the Razer Viper Mini. It’s called DeathAdder V2 Mini and it maintains the same hourglass design and the simple appearance of the buttons that mainly reflect the larger version. Although, with a smaller size, people with smaller hands or a claw grip style now have the opportunity to comfortably enjoy the best deals offered by the best wired gaming mouse available today. This new model launches worldwide today and costs $ 49.99.
DeathAdder V2 Mini is very light at 62 grams, with no option for additional weights, and has an optical sensor with a sensitivity of 8,500 DPI. Razer’s fast and accurate optical switches, which have hit most of their products, are here. The company promises up to 70 million clicks over a lifetime. This smaller mouse has a backlit Razer logo in the middle that can be customized with the company’s free Synapse software.

Like the larger model, it has a Speedflex cable covered in PTFE fabric and legs on the bottom, which helps the mouse glide through a buffer without too much resistance. In addition to the small size, the two big physical differences are here that the Mini has a single button to change DPI, compared to two in the full version. In addition, its side buttons are smaller, but still easily accessible.Razer
DeathAdder V2 Mini has a matte texture, but it may seem too small if it comes from the full version or too slippery if you generally use a different mouse, which has heavy sides. Razer wants to let you change the grip here to your liking, with the included 3M slip-resistant polyurethane adhesive tape sheet.
There are four pieces in the box, one for each side of the mouse, as well as for each of the main mouse buttons. They are subtle and don’t really change the overall appearance of the mouse. You may want to add all four based on your grip style or the types of games you want to play. I found that they were easy to install and just adding a part made this miniature version much easier to handle while playing.
Razer also confirmed today that it now sells tape for some of the other mice for $ 9.99 each, including Viper, Viper Mini, and Viper Ultimate, Basilisk Ultimate, Basilisk V2, Basilisk X Hyperspeed, and DeathAdder V2.
