I have gone down the rabbit hole of finding functioning EZTV proxy sites more times than I can even remember. One day the site is up, and next day it’s blocked and you just sit there, wondering if you typed your URL wrong or the ISP finally started paying attention.
Well, here’s what I’ve learned about using proxies and mirrors to access EZTV the straight story, no BS.

What’s Actually Happening With EZTV
It began as a TV torrent site, EZTV was founded in 2005 it was once one of the best torrent sites for television shows but it started to experience some issues after a hostile takeover. Now it’s all over the place, and to be honest, I do not know which are legit.
The site continues to be blocked in countries including the US, UK, Canada and Australia, because copyright holders don’t particularly like free TV show distribution. Your ISP’s likely blocking a series of domain names, and EZTV is one of them.
But there’s a catch — proxy and mirror sites are designed to circumvent such blocks.
Use These Working EZTV Proxy Sites Now!
I’m not going to guarantee that these are going to work forever (they never do) but here were the mirrors that were actually loading when I pulled it up:
- eztvx. to — This is currently the primary official domain
- eztv. wf — Nice and clean interface. Quite fast too
- eztv. tf –Backup link if the above are slow
- eztv.yt — Usually reliable
- eztv1. xyz — Another solid mirror
Third-party mirrors like eztv. unblockninja. com and eztv. torrentbay. st will also appear, but I’d start with those official-looking sites first.
The tricky part? These domains change constantly. What’s functioning today could be no more with us next month.
How to Access EZTV in a Safe and Smooth Way
This is where most guides get preachy. I’m just going to tell you what actually works.
Option 1: VPN (Yes, Really Do This)
I know, everyone’s like “get a VPN,” and it sounds super extreme. But if you’re on torrent sites, it’s no longer a choice. Everyone in the entire swarm sees your IP address — this means copyright trolls who send bad emails to your ISP.
VPNs such as ExpressVPN or NordVPN are not free, but they scramble your traffic and make it seem like you’re browsing from another country. I just connect to a server where EZTV isn’t blocked (US, Germany) and suddenly the site loads up without issue.
And your ISP can’t see that you’re torrenting, so system-wide throttling will be a thing of the past.
Option 2: Modify Your DNS Settings
This is the quick-and-dirty method. This is DNS filtering: Your ISP blocks sites through the DNS, so if you switch to Google (8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare (1.1.2), you could bypass their block I guess.
To do so please visit your network settings and update DNS to manual, then open or restart your browser and try again. It’s not going to mask that activity, but it might let you elude basic blocks.
Option 3: Proxy Services
On sites like ProxySite, you have to enter the EZTV link, and it will load it using their server. It’s shopping through an intermediary. These services work in a pinch, but they’re typically slower than your other options and blasted with ads.
What to Know Before Downloading
Let me be honest here, EZTV proxies are not 100% safe. I’ve seen:
- TV episodes as malware: Always check file sizes and read the comments before downloading.
- Fake sites that are the same: If it has a ton of pop-ups or strange download buttons, you’re on a scam site
- Legality risks: It is illegal to download copyrighted content in most areas, and yes, people do not surprisingly receive DMCA notices.
Before opening that magnet link, make sure you have an ad-blocker installed (uBlock Origin is good) and antivirus protection running. Don’t enter personal information on any proxy site, and if a torrent file appears here to have a. exe extension, delete it immediately.
The Bottom Line
EZTV proxies do the trick, but they’re a bit of a moving target. Domains shift, some mirrors are glazy and you’re crossing borders with everything you download that’s copyrighted.
If you do choose to use EZTV, make sure to have a VPN in place, confirm you’re on a real mirror and act responsibly when downloading from there. Look for seeder counts (more is better), read user comments and scan files before opening them.
Is it worth the hassle? That is, if you’re willing to pay for five streaming services or you don’t mind a D.M.C.A. notice every now and then.
FAQs
Why is EZTV blocked in my country?
Copyright infringement concerns have led to EZTV being blocked in the UK, US Canada, Australia and many other countries. Your ISP employs DNS or IP check to restrict you from accessing this address.
By using a VPN or altering your DNS configurations, you typically can circumvent these blocks.
What is the distinction between an EZTV mirror site and an EZTV proxy?
Proxies are a way for people in restrictive countries, or parents who block EZTV to access the site, and mirrors are copies of the site hosted on another domain. In reality, they each provide you with access to the same torrent database, so the terms gets used interchangeably.
Do I actually need a VPN to access EZTV safely?
Technically no, but practically yes. When you’re not using a VPN, your IP address is exposed to everyone else in the torrent swarm (including copyright holders who find people pirating and then take legal action). ISPs can also spot torrenting and limit your speed (or send threatening letters.
Traffic encryption and your real IP being hidden are, for example, absolutely essential if you’re are a serious torrent user.
