Soundpeats Capsule3 Pro Comparison: Capsule3 Pro, Mini Pro HS, and Air3 Deluxe HS

Today we would like to introduce you to three new products from Soundpeats. Capsule3 Pro, Mini Pro HS and Air3 Deluxe HS and We won’t go into the technical specifications and features of each product, but we will explain in detail their differences and how they work from a sound and noise perspective. . Call cancellation and quality.

After actually using these headphones, the first thing I noticed was that the dropout issue that plagued previous models, where the sound would often be interrupted by the left ear, has been virtually eliminated with Soundpeats. However, this time I tested it in a crowded environment and there were no dropouts.

All have touch controls with built-in volume control. They are Hi-Res certified, so yes, they support LDAC streaming.

SoundPEATS application

And they’re all backed by the Soundpeats app, which lets you customize the sound with equalization presets and graphic equalization, as well as enabling a gaming mode that reduces latency during gameplay The latest version of Capsule3 Pro offers perhaps the biggest advantage over the others. It has a thick and spacious battery with a total battery life of up to 52 hours including active noise cancellation and charging cases.

It is then streamed using the default SBC codec. But when streaming via LDAC, which is known to consume much more power, you can expect up to 22 hours total, which isn’t bad at all.
The downside is that it has a larger body, but some of you may want to trade this. They’re styled like the AirPods with the stem, but they’re physically larger than the AirPods Pro, so they fit my ears better and feel a bit more stable than the actual AirPods.

Air3 Deluxe HS review and sound

The Air3 Deluxe HS is also AirPods-style, like the Capsule, but it’s open-back, meaning there are no noise-isolation earplugs or active noise cancellation The open seating advantage is that you can always hear your surroundings.

The drawback, however, is that you’ll need to turn up the volume a lot to hear music in noisy places. This means more audio loss, so people sitting next to you can also hear your audio. And that often means less bass, as you’ll learn later when we talk about sound quality. As for the battery, it offers up to 5 hours of battery life in the headphones and 20 hours in the case, which, to be honest, isn’t much when you consider LDAC streaming

Mini Pro HS Sound Quality

The Mini Pro HS has the smallest form factor without sacrificing any important features. A more traditional headphone design that blocks out noise and bass.

Soundpeats Capsule3 Pro

As for the sound, I like it better. It sounds almost identical to the Capsule 3 Pro, the bass and mids are the same. However, there is more breathing room in the higher frequencies, meaning there is more air in the soundstage. In this sound quality comparison, we would like you to pay attention to the clarity of the singer’s voice, the richness of the bass, and the ambience of the soundstage.

Capsule3 Pro Sound Quality

I think the Capsule3 Pro sounds great. The mids sound very clear, with good clarity and separation of tracks. The bass is also well controlled, so it doesn’t spill over into the mids. As for the Air3 Deluxe HS, I don’t like the sound because it lacks bass and highs.

It ended up being much thinner and dry than I was hoping for. EQs can add bass and treble, but their effectiveness is limited. By the way, if you want to compare the sound quality with other brands of headphones, check out the audio sample page on Loudnwireless.com, linked in the description.

Boosts quality

Testing microphone sensitivity in quiet and loud environments, simulating the noise of a coffee shop and the wind noise of a fan, the Capsule3 Pro was found to have the best call quality, sound clearer in quiet moments, and suppress background noise and wind in loud environments. The noise is better than other SoundPEATS headphones. Listen and compare their call quality here.

Active Noise Cancellation

As for active noise cancellation in the same noisy conditions as above, the Mini Pro HS cancels more low frequencies, but at the same time lets in a lot more midrange noise, so it kind of negates that advantage. Overall, the Capsule3 Pro was quieter. It didn’t suppress low frequencies as much, but it created a more muted effect because it canceled out most of the midrange noise. Listen to their noise cancellation examples here.

Transparency Mode

Soundpeats Capsule3 Pro

As far as transparency goes, both were fine. There is still some muting, but the overall transparency is quite useful. The Capsule 3 has a clearer transition, but that’s because the earcups don’t fit as deeply as the Mini Pro HS, so they let in a bit more ambient noise

bottom line

In my opinion, the Capsule3 Pro is the more interesting option. It sounds as good as the Mini Pro HS, but has better call quality and the same features. They also fit better than the Mini Pro. The Mini Pro HS are very deep, so I don’t think they are as ergonomic or comfortable as the Capsule3 Pro. But I like them because they are very compact and feature-rich, if that’s what you need, then this is a very worthy option.

The Air3 Deluxe HS isn’t for me because I’m not a fan of open-back headphones or the sound quality. However, I’ve avoided Soundpeats headphone recommendations in the past due to the signal dropout I’ve experienced with previous versions. But that seems to have been fixed in the latest batch. And they now feature LDAC streaming. So yeah, they’re worth a try if you’re looking for decent budget headphones. But what do you think? Leave your comments below.
