I Tested SearchSEO Traffic Bot over 30 Days: Here Is What I Got.

I will be frank, I was reserved. There is one more tool that will also increase the ranks with an organic-like traffic? Yeah, I’ve heard that before.

The curiosity also won over me and I enrolled into the traffic bot service provided by SearchSEO and ran it through an entire month in a test site. This is what happened to be the case.

What I Was Testing

I selected a low stakes blog post that was ranking on the second page of Google on one of the annoying positions of being right there but not quite. This keyword was good enough to search using, and I considered it suitable to test it with no threat on losing my regular money pages.

SearchSEO boasts of using residential IPs (as opposed to datacenter proxies) so as to replicate the actual clicks of Google search results. The idea? Increase your clicks and Google considers your page more pertinent. Sounds simple enough.

I made it send approximately 30 clicks per day not mad. Just enough to look natural.

Week 1: The Honeymoon Phase

First week? I won’t lie, I was excited. My Google search console began to record more impressions with more clicks. The page has gone up by a shift of 14 to 11 position.

Oh! holy crip, it works, I said to myself.

I monitored my analytics like a maniac. Traffic was up. Position was swinging higher. I began strategizing how to attack the next page.

Week 2-3: Things Get Weird

This was where it became interesting, but not good.

My bounce rate shot up to 94%. The time of the sessions became less than 10 seconds. I mean figures that shrieked that something was wrong here.

When I had dug into the data, I came to realize that the patterns of traffic were… robotic. Same time windows every day. Random city clicks which I was not targeting. Zero secondary action no scrolling, no clicking on internal links, no anything.

I just surfaced this traffic individually in Google Analytics (they should always do so when they are testing bot services) and figured out that it was entirely confusing my data. I was no longer able to tell what real users were doing.

Week 4: The Reality Check

My ranking was stablished during the end of the month when I was placed in position 9, better than when I first began, certainly. But here’s what I noticed:

The ranking felt fragile. I was able to notice the little dips any day when the bot traffic was down. It was not a long term growth based on real content quality and end-user value.

I began to become paranoid as well. Each time I visited Search Console, I was half-surprised when I did not find the notification about a manual action performed by Google. It was not a worthwhile risk-to-reward ratio.

What I Learned

Thirty days later, my personal assessment is as follows:

Traffic bot SearchSEO does actually work in a sense that it can push the rankings in the short run. The residential IP network is not fraudulent, and it mimics clicks.

The thing is that it is not construction of anything real here. You are not enhancing what you are writing. You’re not earning authority. It is merely playing at a metric that Google is becoming smarter each day to identify.

The cost? I had to pay a bot service of 30 dollars, yet I spent all hours on monitoring it, cleaning my analytic data, and worrying about the possible penalty.

Would I Recommend It?

In case you are testing on a jettison site and you are actually interested? Maybe. Isolate it absolutely and do not count on it to do anything significant.

But for actual growth? No way.

I performed improved work by taking the time to refresh my work according to search query, improve my websites loading speed and requesting several quality back links. That required more effort, all right – but the rankings stood.

The Bottom Line

Traffic bot SearchSEO is not a shortcut which is not a scam. It is a gadget that functions technically but it does not address the actual issue that is how to make content that people are actually interested in interacting with.

When you decide whether or not to give it a go, you have to ask yourself one question; am I constructing something that is going to last, or am I simply seeking a one-Day win?

Since fast-tracked results as far as SEO is concerned are a bad habit, prone to becoming headaches in the long run.

I have since advanced to strategies that do create a body of authority – and I feel more at ease at night knowing that Google is not going to bring down the whip on my door.
