Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Banner Schedule: What You Should know.

I was following the Honkai Star Rail 3.2 banner because of the leaks as soon as they were made, and, frankly speaking? It’s stacked. This update costs April 9 -May 20, 2025 and you are not the only one in the Green Mile sitting on a bag of Stellar Jade and wondering where to put it.

Phase 1: April 9-30, 2025

Here’s where things get wild. Phase 1 throws four 5-stars of the characters at you at the same time. Yeah, you read that right–four.

The major player in the show has the name Castorice, which is a newly introduced 5-star Quantum that literally switches HP into damage. She has this memosprite type of dragon named Netherwing that has a hit and has the ability to hold on here do a free revive to its team once in one battle. I am still working that mechanic in my head, however, towards endgame content where your team is being wiped over and over, she becomes rather a game-changer.

Then there are three reruns running with her. The back of Acheron (the Lightning nihility fighter that all were mad after), and both Jiaoqiu and Fugue are Fire nihily characters. Pela, Lynx, and Gallagher all have 4-stars in this stage and this is quite solid in fact when you are creating utility teams.

Phase 2: April 30 – May 20, 2025

Phase 2 brings on board Anaxa, the second new 5 star. Wind Erudition character is simply a machine of breaking weaknesses- this character can simultaneously use all the elemental weaknesses on enemies. In contrast to the actions of Silver Wolf, Anaxa piles them with regular attacks and his final stuns and uses all the weaknesses one can possibly have.

Here, Dr. Ratio comes as the rerun ( Imaginary Hunt DPS ), and your 4 star choices are Dan Heng, Serval and Moze.

The Great Issue: Who to Cling to?

I wasted a lot of time on this. Anaxa will be a more intelligent choice in case you can only pick up one new character. His weakness diversity plays in favor of present stuff as well as future stuff. Castorice can strike better and that revive will be clutch, but Anaxa provides the team-building opportunities that you never had.

Here is what I think after going through the math F2P players receive about 98 pulls per patch. A 5-star will need a minimum of 180 pulls with losing the 50/50 and hitting a hard pity. Unless you have been all this time hoarding since version 3.0, you are making difficult decisions.

Phase 1 is a blessing and has become a curse because of the triple rerun. More characters available? Great. Being forced to choose between Acheron, Jiaoqiu, Fugue, AND Castorice with scarce resources? Not so great.

Also, there is this new 50/50 loss pool system, where you can choose what characters you will see when you lose the coin flip. Great innovation in the long-term planning, though it must also imply that some characters may never receive another rerun again.

On to: count your Stellar Jades and calculate your pity and do not pull unless you are willing to commit. The Hockai Star Rail 3.2 banner list is impressive, offering so many choices but being intensely invasive of your pockets (or time).

FAQ’s

Shall I drag both Castorice and Anaxa?

Not unless you possess mad stores or you take the swipe. Anaxa offers greater options on all content. The revive mechanic in the Castorice is fantastic in end game difficulties but, choosing one, I will go Anaxa long run.

How does the 50/50 system work?

Each 5-star draw is a coin flipping game, 50/50 of landing the character you are scanning and 50/50 of landing a standard 5-star. Lose that flip? The next 5 star is surely the rate-up character. It is what makes people use 180 pulls to get guarantees.

What is soft pity as compared to hard pity?

Pity will certainly come in around pull 75 and give your side a back door. Hard pity ensures a 5 star or more as pull 90 on character banners (80 on light cones). Majority of the hits are found to fall between 75-85 pulls.

Free pulls on version 3.2 How many free pulls do F2P players have?

Approximately 98-110 pulls After adding Stellar Jade as missions, events, daily commissions, Special Passes and anniversary bonuses. Sufficiently enough to pass off as one of them certain 5-star provided you already have some of the pity accumulated.
