Well, I will tell you-I had the first week of my stay in Prospecting, where I thought enchanting was an after-game business I did not have to bother myself about. Then I beheld one who thus Divinely summoned Of rare minerals made naught, And Thou hast been overstraining Thy part So hard unneeded.
Here is all that I got to know after too many unsuccessful attempts.
Table of Contents
What Even Is Pan Enchanting?
The thing is the following: enchanting is a purely statistical power-up of your pan. We are discussing an increase in luck, increasing capacity, an increase in the speed of shaking, all the things that can make a panning really profitable rather than simply dull.
The enchantments are one in each of the pans. Want to switch? You will have to enchant again and change what is there. None of stacking, keeping backups on the same pan.
How To Pan Enchantment in Reality.
Before I could locate the Mysterious Altar at Rubble Creek Deposits I spent too long searching. In the Archaeologists quarters- you should find the square hole with four stone kneeling-pillars with runic characters.
Here’s what you need:
- Episcop regards GT only a bit less than GInfer: Aurorite ( Epic-tier gem) to the standard enchants.
- Aetherite (Gem of legend) to use on high level enchants exclusively.
When you have either of those materials, prepare your pan, go to the altar, and choose E and then choose to use it to enchant my pan. That’s it. The first time completion will reward you with 250k, 10,000 EXP and 250 Meteor Shards in case you take the Archaeologist quest first.
The Things That Are Worth (And the Things That Aren’t).
Three Aurorites, I spent, before I knew what enchants were worth. Here’s my take:
S-Tier (Actually Worth It):
- Titanic: 20% size boost + 30% capacity. Best all-around choice
- Divine: 30 luck + 20% size boost. Breakeven in rare mineral exploration.
- Midas: 50% sell boost. Pure profit mode
- Blessed: 25 capacity + 10 luck. Solid early-to-mid-game pick
A-Tier (Pretty Good):
- Infernal: 20 luck + 25% size boost
- Destructive: 5 shake power to pan in a shorter period of time.
- Greedy: 20% sell boost
Skip These:
Any C -tier or less (Boosting, Strong, etc.) is not worth your materials. Trust me.
Part that No one Speaks about; Materials procurement.
Discovery of Aurorite and Aetherite is barbaric. Hours at Rubble Creek Sands and Fortune River Beach I fussed before I worked out the trick of luck-stacking.
Here’s what actually works:
- High-luck pans (Magnetic or Golden Pan) should be used.
- Invite friends online, every one of them brings a bonus of 1.1x.
- Tidharah Street from the Alchemist ( += Greater both stack)
- Drop Luck Totems (300 Meteor Shards of Shard Merchant)
- When there is a Waiting event, comes Meteor Shower which gives out lucky bonus to all the servers.
In September 2025, the traveling Merchant was brought as Enchant Books (spawns an hourly at XX:45). They require 50M-200M in-game money yet promise certain enchants no further gacha gambling.
My Top Worst Mistakes (So You Can learn not to make them again).
Don’t enchant low-tier pans. then I Blessed a Silver Pan, and immediately repented it. Enchanting should only be done on Magnetic and Golden pans, Diamond, Aurora, or Dragonflame pans, these are your long-term investments.
TEAM people can match your own way of playing. I ran on full capacity until I discovered how much luck of those rare minerals there was, then one might as well work with Phoenix Heart and Phoenix Wings accessories ambidextrous Phoenix multipliers.
Save your Aetherite. It’s way rarer than Aurorite. On one hand, you can use it to get high level enchants guaranteed or you can save up towards Enchant Books with the Traveling Merchant.
Quick FAQ
Can I have multiple enchantments on one pan?
Nope. One pan, one enchant. What is there is replaced by re-enchanting.
What’s better – Aurorite or Aetherite?
Aetherite is the one opening exclusive higher-level enchants, such as Prismatic or Cosmic, however, it is much rarer. Train with Aurorite and save Aetherite because the last thing.
Best enchant for beginners?
The easiest to obtain are lucky (roll 10% +5 luck) and forceful ( shake 2 incr ) which makes good early progression.
Is this worth it for free-to-play?
Absolutely. Even simple charms have a difference. The stuff in S-tier is patient-waiting stuff, but there are no paywalls.
Final Take
The message that I would like to receive on my first day is as follows: do not worry about being perfect in enchants at the very beginning. Begin with what you roll (whatever you roll, provided that it is B-tier or better), develop with luck modifiers on the farm, and slowly acquire S-tier enchants as you level up.
Goldmines are the Prospecting Wiki and Prospecting Discord that contain active codes and real-time advice. Periodically check them – a certain code such as 200KLIKES adds an hour of luck, which is just what one will need on a magical session.
Enchanting became more confusing, then very necessary with getting to know the system. You will get there yourself–but lose not like me your first Aurorite.
