Quick heads-up: codes are case-sensitive. Type them exactly as shown, or they won’t work. I learned that the hard way after typing “lateupdates” three times before realizing my mistake.

Update 9.0 Is About to Change Everything

Okay, so here’s what I’m actually excited about. Update 9.0 is hitting late October or early November, and it’s the biggest content drop since launch.

Trading System Finally Arrives

The trading feature we’ve been asking for is finally here, letting you exchange limited units, familiars, skins, and giftable items with a 5-second confirmation window to prevent scams. Here’s the catch though Monarch-trait units can’t be traded. If you’ve got one, it’s staying in your roster forever.

On discord, I’ve seen people already planning trades for high-corruption familiars and even limited cosmetics. Just be a little smart about valuations don’t get used on trading your rare unit for something mediocre..

Model Reworks Happening

Due to DMCA strikes, dozens of units are getting completely redesigned to be fresh not copyrighted in any way designs while keeping their in-game identity. Characters like Sukuna, Toji, Gojo are getting reworks. Honestly, that’s something I’m pretty excited for some of the leaked designs do look clean.

14 New Units + 12 Reworks.

This update is around 14 new units being released and around 12 complete unit reworks full in-game model replacements making it the biggest content update in AV history. There’s gonna be a lot of new units to summon for, so safe your gems now.

What To Do Before 9.0 Drops

If you’re, by any chance, trying to get ready for the update, here’s my advice:

Safe your gems. Did I say save your gems? I meant, safe your gems. Don’t blow them on some random banners now. Just keep them and see what units are meta when 9.0 drops..

Get them Trait rerolls stacked. You got 14 new units coming in, you’re gonna want rerolls for the meta unit you pull..

Join the Discord if you haven’t. The official Anime Vanguards Discord has over 1.1m members and acts as the main announcement hub, plus where the code drops show up first. That’s when I get the codes.
