Brett Samuels is a White House correspondent for The Hill in Washington, D.C., since early 2019. That includes reporting on the Trump administration for about two years, and now he’s reporting on the Biden administration.

Before joining The Hill, he was a city reporter in Schenectady, New York. Before that, hewas attended Syracuse University and worked for The Daily Orange, an independent student newspaper in Syracuse, New York.

In February 2016, he had spent a week in New Hampshire covering Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign for the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.

He worked mostly in the office at the Buffalo News and sometimes wrote articles about general issues.
