Honkai Star Rail was released and I’ve been playing it since the start, and the banner of 3.2 Light Cone was different. I mean two powerful new 5-star weapons that really feel good to pull- something I do not say about gacha banners.
Table of Contents
What’s New in the Banner
The banner of the “Through the Petals in the Land of Repose” fell down two signature Light Cones which perfectly match the new characters. The following are some of the things I noticed:
Make Farewells More Beautiful is the weapon of Castorice, and designed on tanky-style damage dealers. The boosted max hp percentage of 30 is instant and 30% ignore of defend after inflicting damage. The kicker? On disappearance of your summon you receive 12 percent atk. I tried it on Memosprite mechanics of Castorice and the damage spike can be felt–particularly in Memory of Chaos on the issue of survivability.
The best alternative that Anaxa would choose is Life Should Be Cast to Flames. It begins your turn with 10 Energy that accelerates Ultimate rotations in the most outrageous way. Anaxa plays like a truck with the 60 percent damage increase against the implanted Weakness enemies and a 12 percent reduction of the defense of the and enemy in two turns. I tested this on a dual-DPS with The Herta and the burst damage production was more or less gratifying.
Should You Actually Pull?
Here is my opinion after trying my burning Stellar Jades in both of them: get the character, and then think about his signature Light Cone. Castorice takes well with typical 5-star products such as Sweat Now, Cry Less in case you are not whaling. The same applies to Anaxa: the free event Light Cone “The Great Cosmic Enterprise” has a damage scaling of approximately 56% and that is sufficiently close to the performance of the signature.
There is also a banner of weapons that are returned to Acheron, Jiaoqiu and Dr. Ratio. You have the opportunity to do that in case you are the owner of such characters and you forgot to sign them. However, it is not obligatory that you should feel pressured, F2P players need to see new characters before the doubles of the Light Cone will appear.
What I Actually Recommend
F2P players should not be tempted to buy the 5-star Light Cone until you have the character on the seat on or above Eidolon 1. The 4 stars alternatives under this patch are remarkably sound. I have been playing Today Is Another Peaceful Day on my Erudition DPS and the song does the trick without having to empty my wallet.
Besides, with the new Stellar Convergence Shop, you would be able to swap out Golden Companion Spirits actualities into confined 5-stars or signatures. Free spirit is granted to you only by hitting Equilibrium 4, which takes the burden off gacha pulls. Instead of relying on pitiful luck, I picked up a signature Light Cone through the shop.
Bottom line? The 3.2 Light Cone banner is justified when you are going to invest in Castorice or Anaxa in the long run. Otherwise, reserve saving screen on characters- they do so much more to your roster than weapons will ever do so.
FAQs
Q: Is Castorice’s signature Light Cone necessary?
A: Not really. She functions very well with regular 5-star Light Cones Eidolon 0. Her signature is most shinny on a couple of times you have her at Eidolon 1 synergy. Take the character, and make your choice whether to take the weapon.
Q: What’s the best F2P Light Cone for Anaxa?
A: “The Maximum Threat” in the event reward. It is crafted as a weakness attack to the mechanism of Anaxa and offers up to 56 percent damage, almost the same as her signature at no expenditure of Stellar Jades.
Q: Should I pull for returning Light Cones like Acheron’s?
A: You need to already have the character. Rerun weapons such as “Along the Passing Shore” are that which are of meta-defining, but useless without their corresponding character. Don’t jerk simply because it is scarce.
