Pixel 4a wins FCC hardware certification, but is Google over?

At that point, I almost gave up Pixel 4a. It’s been more than a year since Google launched the very well-received Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL mid-range smartphones, and its successor is nowhere to be found hardware. This does not mean that I have not seen any stored pictures, technical data and even photos of sales boxes for the Pixel 4a. But how long does it take for Google to start the phone?
Now we know that the Pixel 4a has received FCC certification because three FCC IDs have passed the regulatory test labs. These model numbers include G025J, G025M and G025N; The first information is reserved for US devices. An appearance at the FCC is usually one of the last stages before a new device is released in the United States. Hopefully, this means that the Pixel 4a will be launched very soon.

Due to the strong leaks in recent months, the Pixel 4a is expected to be powered by an old Snapdragon 730 SoC with 6 GB RAM and has a 5.81-inch OLED display (2340 x 1080). Despite the relatively large rear-view camera pods – such as the high-quality Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL – the Pixel 4a has a single 12.2-megapixel rear-view camera. Other well-known features include a 3,080 mAh battery, an optical fingerprint sensor mounted on the back and a selfie camera stamp. The Pixel 4a was supposed to debut alongside a larger Pixel 4a XL, but the latter device was canceled.

Nevertheless, many seem to believe that Google may already have missed the chance to cause a sensation with pixel 4a in the middle class. Apple already has a great impression of the price of $ 399 with its second-generation SE iPhone, which has an A13 Bionic SoC that will surpass most (if not all) of the flagship Android processors, which cost leave more than twice as expensive.

The Samsung A51 is also a credible threat and has an MRP of $ 399. Amazon currently sells the smartphone for $ 325, although the retailer has offered it for up to $ 269 in recent weeks. Although the Galaxy A51 is nowhere near the performance of the iPhone SE in terms of performance, it does offer a large battery, a large 6.5-inch OLED screen, and four cameras on the back (which is probably enough to accommodate many to convince customers over hardware).

And we can’t forget the future OnePlus Z that will be confirmed next month. Rumor has it that even with 5G connectivity on board, the smartphone could cost up to $ 299. This is an unprecedented price for a 5G smartphone in the U.S. So we just have to wait and see how it goes in next month’s announcement.

Google should have a price of $ 349 for the Pixel 4a at launch. That would be $ 50 less than the MSRP of the iPhone SE and the Galaxy A51. But is that enough to convince buyers to give Google another chance in the mid-range market? pixel
